UPCAT and other College Entrance Test Review STUDY HABITS is a teacher-owned and operated tutorial, review and learning center that caters to preschool, elementary, high school and college students who are in need of academic assistance in their school subjects. We believe that a child’s academic performance greatly depends on good study habits. Thus, we uphold a systematic and innovative learning system in all our academic programs to ensure the efficient monitoring and preparation for school requirements. REVIEW PROGRAMS Every parent dreams of sending his or her child to any of the country's premier universities and colleges. However, due to the sheer number of applicants in these educational institutions, the entrance exams have proven to be quite difficult and competitive. Thus, there is a growing realization that one needs to extensively prepare for taking any of the entrance examinations to such prestigious schools as the University of the Philippines, Ateneo De Manila University, De La Salle University and the like. We at Study Habits have designed our own comprehensive review programs to better equip the students with the necessary skills and knowledge to hurdle the various college entrance exams such as the UPCAT, ACET, DLSUCET, and USTET. Coupled with a systematic approach to learning, our review programs help increase the students’ chances of hurdling these entrance exams with flying colors. Furthermore, our review programs are designed inculcate the virtues of diligence and conscientiousness in order to prepare graduating high school students for their new school life in college. Our review programs are further designed to impart various test-taking skills, strategies and techniques which could greatly aid students not only in passing the college entrance exams but future quizzes and periodical exams in college, as well. REVIEW COVERAGE The Study Habits 2009 Comprehensive College Entrance Test Review Program provides emphasis on the following areas of study: Mathematics (General Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Basic Calculus). Science (General Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Language Proficiency (English and Filipino), Abstract Reasoning and Logic, Reading Comprehension and Essay Writing. All of these subject areas are included in the modules and sample exams created by a team of professors from the University of the Philippines Diliman. STAFF AND FACILITIES Our lecturers are highly-qualified mentors from the University of the Philippines. They are more than competent in their respective areas of study as well as equipped with the teaching tools to help the students effectively understand the basic concepts, processes and techniques in analyzing entrance test question and solving difficult math and science problems.
